The Affirmation of Faith – I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of the heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ His only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried; the third day He rose from the dead. Church Announcements
Praise the Lord! At the Called Church Conference last Sunday, the church voted to call Matt Huntley as our new Senior Pastor. Thanks to all of you who have prayed and sought God’s guidance during the search process. God is good!
Vacation Bible School is right around the corner. Thanks to all who have signed up to help. We have a few places to be filled. Stop by the VBS display today and sign up, or see Tina Perkins. The dates are June 12-16.
Our Annual Church Conference will be held on Sunday, June 4th at 11:15 a.m. in the Sanctuary. All members over the age of 18 are eligible to vote.
Our Wednesday night Cooking Team has a few remaining openings for cooks this month. If you’d like to join the team, please see Kim Culpan. There are also openings for the month of June.
Women’s Ministry Event – You are invited to a fun evening Thursday, May 25th at 6:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. It’s a Dessert Tasting Time. Bring you favorite dessert and enough copies of the recipe to share and join the fun!
Flower Calendar – If you’d like to place flowers in the church, please see the Flower Sign Up list in the Foyer. We have openings that you might like to fill.
On Sunday, May 28th we will be honoring Bro. Michael upon his retirement as our Senior Pastor. Following the 10 a.m. Service we will have a reception and refreshments in the Fellowship Hall.
